Until she does a gushy, tearful, gracious thank you to everyone, she needs to be ignored. Probably claims to still be busy deleting popups from Smith though....
Rita is the only logical thinking person here. Everyone else thinks I am either having an affair with Paul or actually AM Paul.
I just had a bunch of stuff that had to get done before the forum. It was all that stuff I was whining about needing to get done BEFORE I went on vacation, which I did not get done.
I am thoroughly enjoying reading this though. Although I had an amazing time with my family last week, I had no idea what I was missing here!
My husband, my youngest son, and I were walking up the ramp toward the airport security area and I heard a distinctive little boy voice shriek "MOMMY!" I teared up instantly and I couldn't stop hugging him.
I think he was on my lap probably 75% of our waking hours. He weighs about 70 lbs and was cutting of the circulation in my legs but I didn't care. He is a big teddy bear of a child.
Both my boys are staying with my parents this week and they return next week. My husband and I actually went to a grown-up restaurant last night for dinner and drinks. I don't recall the last time we did that but I am confident it was before we had children.
The house feels oddly empty and when we go places, I feel like I'm supposed to be herding small children, but there are no children arond me. I'm enjoying the freedom but definitely miss them.
Fortunately I have my Forum friends to fill the gap. Some of them are quite childish themselves. x;-)
I understand the empty feeling. We've had our 7 yr old grandson since the 29th of June. He will be going home next weekend, and I'm already missing him. Glad you're back, though. Paul was adrift without you like a ship without a rudder.
Aha! Ray got to you. Irritated? Pissed yes, irritated no. PCB does not need a sidekick, he needs pain management. He thrives on getting his a** kicked in.
Ray knows I don't try to piss people off on purpose and thought I should know. I thought it was funny, you did not, therefore I am dropping it after this post. Feel free to PM me if I ever do something idiotic like that again.
This is what you do while on vacation? Research the "real" meanings behind acronyms?
I would make fun of you for it, but since it's all about me, I'll let you off the hook.
I don't quilt and I have no idea where Hay River is...
Her Royal Queenliness is much closer to the real meaning of HRQ. It's not actually that exciting, but feel free to continue the speculation for my (and others) enjoyment. x:D
See, Q... Paul and I post DURING our vacations. I don't know about Paul's reason, but I figure, Hey - why should you guys be punished just because I'm taking time off from work?

I like how we never talk about Q in her own thread. There is something right about that.

It is time to plan another Forum cruise...
Nobody's asked yet. How's your son? Was he glas to see you? I know you were him.

They are like children, I tell ya. Well, one of them is.... x:D
I sincerely apologize for the "sidekick" suggestions, by the way. I suspect that may have irritated you just a tad.
Are we good?
I am not sure what I did but I probably did something.
Wow. Not sure I really want to send this and admit it. Hmmm. Ok here goes...I'm pushing the send button.
Just by accident, I stumbled across this and finally solved the mystery.

HRQ is a good name. It can be shortened to "Q" which has a cool, hip quality a la Quincy Jones.
PICB sounds like a form of mass transit or something.
"My car is in the shop so I had to take the PICB into work this morning."
I call it my "Brentwood state of well being". I learned that from the Ragee.
