  • Back when I went to grad school, I had to pass the GMAT test. I don't know if that is similar to the GRE or not. The GMAT was long, but I don't remember it being that difficult. Good luck!

  • Since you agreed to buy her a new lens pot, Steve, are you admitting that you are actually the "one male candidate" that you wrote about? Huh? Huh?
  • I'm impressed with his ability to shut it off.
  • OK, Beagle. Touche'. I still have a pair of old sandals with the tire treds on the bottom from 1968. Not very comfortable, but they came in handy when I played the part of Judas in the Passion play. The Nikes wouldn't have done it.

  • Beagle, I'm actually supporting the kids of the world. Who am I to deprive them of their livelihood? Ray, my feminine side just happens to be my feet. Cinderella, can you draw me a swoosh utilizing your new hobby?

  • Probably #4 because, most likely, that's what I would do first. However, If I go somewhere to pick something up, etc., I'll dump the grass stained ones and go with the #3's.

  • I can't take this anymore! I have to confess. Besides the normal two pair of dress loafers and a pair of slippers, I have 9 pair of Nikes, each with its own purpose: 1. Dress (yes, I wear my dress Nikes to weddings) 2. Work (I walk around alot) 3. W…

  • Calculating Earned Run Average is pretty straight forward once you have the correct values. Getting the "correct values" can be tricky. I'll explain. First of all, ERA is equal to the number of earned runs times the number of innings in a regulatio…
  • Whoever said it had Oliver North in mind.

  • Nice one, DJ!! Another oxymoron that the government likes to use is the term "legally drunk". I can just imagine being pulled over, have the officer ask me if I'm drunk, and I respond,"Yes, officer I am. HOWEVER, I am legally drunk, so leave me alon…

  • This is similar to what is known as "astro-turfing". In the confines of this forum, I think we do it innocently and with good intentions. Not so with "astro-turfing". This is when a political group will create a text or a body of a letter and then…
  • Yes, Gillian, I do have an office and frequently I hear voices echoing from other offices around me asking, "Larry, what in the h*** are you DOING in there?!" Anyway, I have fun. Ray, the video idea is out. My singing sounds like a cross between Ro…
  • How did you know!?!? It took me a quite a while to type it too, considering I was clapping along and pumping my right fist. Gotta go now. The general manager wants to meet with me. Wonder what that's about?
  • Slogan, please allow me to explain the words to my beloved Michigan's fight song. The song was written by a Michigan alumnus in 1902 while riding in a train back to Ann Arbor from Chicago after the Wolverines had beaten the U. of Chicago for the Wes…
  • Hey, anybody notice that Anson Williams (Potsie) from "Happy Days" is now monitoring the forum. Potsie! How ya' been?
  • As I remember, you both are over 50. Right? If so, that makes three of us.
  • Come on, Ray. I'll bet that, you not only remember 45's, you rememeber 78's as well.
  • Is this Camp Grenada, by any chance?
  • So, cousin, you probably remember the belt too. That usually followed the "saying".
  • MY father would come up with "sayings" that explored the vocabulary in quite a different way! They were fun too, unless they were directed at me.
  • I didn't understand any OTFA.
  • Thank you, James. I'll take my paranoia and direct it elsewhere. As far as losing my mind, I'm sure THAT'S still going on; just not as quickly as I had feared.
  • Little Dynamite is 14 years younger than I am and quite good lookin', so there's never been a problem getting the fuse lit. Brad, how close are we to getting gonged?
  • I married a woman from Siren,Wisconsin. She doesn't cook, but, boy can she shoot a basketball and hit a golf ball. Plays from the men's tees and occasionally outdrives me......OK,OK..... FREQUENTLY outdrives me. In high school, her nickname was "Lit…
