OK, we are forming a forum band and going to do the TV contest shows. We've got,
Marc on vocals
HRQ playing brass
Paul on synthesizer (if agrees since he's clueless right now)
Ray on dulcimer

Kind of a blend of Chicago and folk music.

We need a name. Whoever chooses the best name, gets to be a groupie unless it is a band member then they get to haul all the gear.

Yeah, it's a made up word. Scoleum - I am not even sure how it should be spelled. Calling me a hobo is an insult to hobos.

Forum band, eh? Ok I play guitar and piano badly. Sign me up. I can guarantee a good portion of my relatives would consider attending any concerts we are able to book. Alot of my friends would come to so they could laugh and mock me.

Ray already volunteered you for synthesizer. If you play it loud enough, then I can continue singing without embarassment.

What is your suggestion for the band name? I haven't come up with one yet.

I am practicing my doo wops, could you guys play a little louder? Some of my office neighbors can hear me - the laughter often drowns out the notes, but not yet.

So I like gadgets. Yeah any band I am in is going to have a cool 80's retro sound, lots of synthesizers, jackets with shoulder pads, mousse, and eyeliner.

Use to vocalize a bit, tickle the keyboards a little but was better, still not very good, with the electric bass. Maybe good enough to keep the beat going. That is if we don't go to fast.

Sorry, I find Riverdance stuff incredibly annoying. I find broadway musical dancing much more interesting. I also love the stomp style of dancing.

And if Missk is reading this, that's Celtic with a hard C not a soft C like that basketball team from Boston.

Very closed-minded of me, but I was so turned off by the onslaught of commercials that I found other things to do when they came on. I wish "The Lord of the Dance" would keep his shirt on, and lose the headband.

I also turn off the radio whenver I hear Celine Dion or Josh Grobin. I realize they are both a zillion times more talented than the average bear, but they annoy the crap out of me.

On to more positive topics: who's gonna play the trash can lids? If you don't like those, I say we add spoons to the orchestra. x:D

Let's all go to our neighborhood university and round up some interns - we'll make them dance and waive any WC incidents.

That way we can sit back and mentor - you know, smack the wayward interns with the trash can lid - I hear it makes a wonderful clashing sound.
