Hope y'all have time for a bit of Southern vintage humor. The word that you may find offensive absolutely has its place in the joke and can't be substituted and hold it's true value. Please forgive if you're offended. But, knowing me, you know I don't give a rat's if you are. Enjoy. x:D
While waiting to board a plane, a college age girl from Mississippi was standing beside a group of several others about her age, all from the northeast.
The young woman from Mississippi, raised to be friendly, asked "So, where are y'all from?"
As her companions snickered at the drawl and Southern idiom, another of the New York women gave her a once-over of contempt and disdain, and replied "From a place where they know better than to use a preposition at the end of a sentence."
The Mississippi girl was silent for a few moments, and then smiled a sweet smile before rejoining: "So, where y'all from, bitch?"

Cheerleader to my daughter Shana: What is that body of water outside the right side window.
Shana: The Atlantic Ocean
Cheeleader: Then we must be near London and China.
Shana: No, China's on the left side of the plane.
After the Cheerleader stands up (with several of her companions) to look out the left side of the plane she says: I can't see China.
Shana: That's because it's a cloudy day.
Cheerleader: I guess we'll see it when we fly home.
Our reaction--is this an example of the superior Alabama education???
