  • I'm not sure where the house was...but I remember Kate Jackson on as Daphne...long before she was an Angel! Does anyone remember the remake of Dark Shadows that was on in the 90's?

HS, bless you. xpray. I'll be hitting that happy milestone in exactly one year, seven months, and 26 days....not like I'm counting!!!

I was the fourth of five, so have three siblings in that decade - the last one just jumped in this past February. I love history, both major events and the trivial. I am also the keeper of all the family's 45s and LPs. Half my pantry is filled with vinyl!

  • I got 25 of them. Could not think of "Smile you're on Candid Camera."
Not sure of the time frame, but for some reason this brought to mind Captain Kangaroo with Mr. Green Jeans, Mr. Moose, Bunny Rabbit and the antimated stories of Tom Teeerrific with Might Manfred the Wonder Dog? There are days that I could use Tom T's "Thinking cap."
    Thanks for the fun post.

  • I don't know where the "real" Dark Shadows house is, but I stayed at the Stanley Hotel once. ;)
  • I believe it's in Maine around the Ogunquit or Kennybunkport (spelling?) area.

  • When I was 4 or 5, I was allowed to make out my own list for Santa (Christmas of '66 or '67). I could write well enough to make it legible, and my mom still has that list in her scrapbook. Anyway, first thing on the list... alberto vo5... I guess the commercial made a real impression on me!
  • Is that shampoo or hair gel? Don't remember the exact product.
  • It was hair gel that apparently turned you into an incredibly suave Continental gentleman dressed in a tuxedo and driving a sportscar. Think James Bond...

It didn't work on me, but it was fun otherwise. (Yes, "Santa" actually put a tube in my stocking!)

  • I am shocked! Shocked and appalled that you actually MISSED ONE OF THE BEATLES! Probably the greatest guitarist since Eric Clapton, GEORGE HARRISON! What sheer blasphemy! I'm beside myself, here!!!!
