I heard that Larry loves those little pills so much he has reverted to his hippie days from the 60s wearing bell bottom pants, tie dyed t-shirts, long hair and lamb chop sideburns... and flashes the peace sign to everybody and says things like groovy.

Wow, far out, man!! My earlier posting wasn't a "drug vision". It was referring to the last words of the Wicked Witch of the West.

I'm totally free from pain meds now. Two years of neck pain is also gone. During my follow up with the nuerosurgeon today, I found out that the bone spur was intruding about 40% into my spinal cord. Thank God for pain meds, but thank God they're out of my life now.

Should be back to work by July 3rd.

I didn't recognize your quote from the witch, but appreciate you were staying with the unintended theme.

My mother-in-law had surgery in February, to remove a spur on the lower-back area of her spine. Was causing her excruciating pain, and she's feeling much better now. Until her surgery, I always thought spurs were for cowboys and basketball.

Yeah, Larry, did the docs take out your 10,000 gland along with that spur??? You know those are my favorite thing to read! :>) And that one is SO TRUE - each of the few MN lakes I have been to were mud. (Although isn't there one in downtown Mlps that is surrounded by concrete? Not sure if it counts as a lake or not.)
