• I don't think they will ever find her. If they asked daddy for help, he knew the absence of a body meant it would be hard to prove a crime had occured. If those boys sit quiet long enough, they will be released. After watching years of L&O and CSI, I'm convinced most criminals get caught b/c they can't keep their mouth shut.
It will be interesting to see how long this goes on.
• Hah! I told you. No body, no case. See this article. http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/8389319/
I saw an interview with the mother the other day. She said when she met with this guy, he was sweating profusely the entire conversation. Guilty, Guilty, Guilty!
• OK, not to beat a dead horse here, but I watched Greta last night and read a news article this morning. It appears that they are now bringing Dutch behavioral specialists in to interview the dutch youth. Apparently, they are considered "experts" in behavioral-based interrogations. Hmm.....What a concept! Bring in the Cavalry after the battle is lost!

Some interesting facts revealed last night during Greta's interview of the parents. Apparently they have several leads and theories which the mainstream media is not reporting. One, which I found particularly interesting is that the Dutch youth had a gambling addiction. He had open lines of credit at all the big casinos on the island. Apparently, he ran-up a sizeable debt at one, the Excelsior. It is believed that he may have "offered" the young lady to the casino's manager in order to repay his debt. Interestingly enough, the casino manager fled Aruba within days of her disappearance. It is thought that she may have been taken (dead or alive) to Venezuela.

Hmmmmm.......
• I'm still holding out hope that she will be returned to her family.

It bothers me that no one seems to be able/willing to tell the truth...it just seems so cold-hearted.

• Gene:

I did not see the news or the article, but this morning getting ready for work, I heard that they have started looking through the trash! It was only the teaser for the story, but I was not around to hear the report on what was going on. Has anyone heard about that? It seems to me that searching the trash for clothing with DNA evidence, etc. is something that should have been done from the beginning. Now, it is unlikely that they will find anything useful.
• Yes, I caught that on Greta last night. The problem with the landfill search is that they are not regulated by the EPA like we are and there is medical waste (as in needles and blood-contaminated surgical material) all over the place. In any event it will take them weks to sort through that.
