Three of these four things really happened, just recently. Are you cynical enough to figure out the made-up story?


(a) Identical male twins were revealed to be the registered owners of a Russian Web site devoted to nude photos of female Siamese twins.
(b) A male nurse who had just pleaded guilty to lewd conduct with a handicapped boy was merely transferred by his employer (a California government agency) away from children, to work in its animal-care facility.
(c) A distributor in Florida sold more than 10,000 units of a plastic toy premium (inside bags of candy) that depicts planes flying into the World Trade Center.
(d) An Oregon couple pleaded guilty to several instances of punishing their two kids' bad behavior by allowing their pit-bull dog to attack them.

A and B sound too much like our world to be false, I know "C" is absolutely true, because I saw it on the Today show. So, my guess is D has to be the false story...please.

I'm going to say "D" is false. Any true Oregonian knows that barbaric activity such as that was outlawed in 1994 when we abolished the pillories in Pioneer Courthouse Square as a form of punishment. x;-)

'A' makes no sense. I pick 'A' for the false one.

A - Thats not so crazy when you think of everything else out there.

B - I believe anything can happen in California

C - I know its true, I saw it on the news

D - Wouldn't the kids have died in a pit bull attack? I pick this as false.

C and believe or not, D has been reported in the press. Assuming I can believe the press, they must be true. Therefore, either A or B. Siamese Twins are very rare. How many females could there be and willing to pose nude? B is plausible. I'll go with A.

I pray to God it is D, but I'm afraid it's not. If it isn't, those parents should be sentenced to be torn limb from limb by their own dog. A just seems plain silly so I'll go with A - still praying it is D.

Please tell us these idiot parents were neutered w/o benefit of so much as an aspirin before they were thrown in with a pack of angry pit bulls to be ripped and shredded. And their sentence really was....?

I was hoping that was the untrue one as well. But again, nothing should surprise me. I remember an abuse case where the mother held her child's hands in boiling water as punishment. He lost almost all his fingers. I don't remember what happened to her, this was a long time ago.

They should put those parents in a closed pen with hungry coyotes. Or hyenas.

True and appropriate punishment would be handed down if those parents were sentenced to a trip to a swamp in northern Michigan with a few friends of mine. It really boggles my mind that some parents (unfit to be so) can do the things they do to their own children. What a shame for those poor kids!!!

This is total conjecture on my part, but, I am willing to bet a hundred bucks on Ray being the only person in the history of the Forum to ever ask about nude siamese twins.

I truly believe his question was rhetorical and that he harbored no real interest in the subject. But, I'm not willing to bet on that one. x:D
