hehe! I can't deny I've sat through some games wherein the Chiefs couldn't have beaten a community college team! Last night, though, was a different story. No luck involved, KC just played the heck out of'em! 8-0!

Y.A. Tittle, Frank Gifford, and Sam Huff - especially Sam Huff were my heros. I was heartbroken when Sam went to Washington. Right, I used to watch them in black and white. Ah... but I did see parts of the Giants game yesterday - they played some 2nd rate team from the midwest.

Hey pollypop, I'm with ya! I have Trent Green and the KC defense on my fantasy football team and they are kickin' butt for me. A friend of mine is a huge KC fan - he was really freaking out last Monday night when Oakland fell a yard shy of tying the game. Are you as animated?

Oh my goodness!! Not just me, but the entire city is crazed. It seems to be a magical season and there are several standout players -- Priest Holmes, Trent Green, Tony Gonzalez, Dante Hall! And that's just our offense! Good for your fantasy team -- our defense had 7 turnovers last night and only allowed 1 field goal. We think this could be our year!!

PS - I got 25 points from Trent and 27 from the D. I just plucked Green off the free agent list about 10 days ago. What a deal!

This is my first time playing fantasy football (I always thought it was kinda weird, but now I'm addicted). I have Priest Holmes, which is the only reason I've won any games. He's simply amazing.

Unfortunately, KC and Priest have a bye this week x:'( so I'll probably have to start Corey Dillon! x:o

Whatever: I was born and raised in New Jersey. I remember when the Meadowlands were just that, bogs and swamps. The stadium put Rutherford and Secaucus on the map. Also, closed whatever pig farms were still in operation. Land became too valuable.

I have attended sporting events, concerts, fairs and the horse races there. Yep, I've been there, done that.

I can't believe Ritaanz was asked 'have you ever been to Jersey'. For goodness sakes, she went to school there in a covered wagon every day and watched the first Howdy Doodey show there while in high school and celebrated the nations 10th Thanksgiving there. My Dear BeaglePuss: Bear with me for a second. If I included Don, then it wouldn't be the Three Stooges would it? The criteria necessary to qualify for this prestigious assemble was out of reach for poor Don. Alas, he is too intellectual, meaning his brain power won't allow him to demean himself. His sarcastic wit lends itself to the irony and satire that he uses so often, again, will not permit Don to join in. I think I prefer the "Forum Mafia" of which Don is a charter member. Beagle really was a member all along. WOCO Frank can now join the club. Of course we could be the Three Musketeers and Don could be D'Artangen. Or, if we want to go British, we could be Robin Hood and his merry band. Don is Robin (didn't Robin hood wear tights?), Ritaanz is the fair maid Marian and then the rest of us.

You're wrong all the way around. WOCO does not gain entry simply by posting one bold remark. It took you about 40 yourself. And Beagle, somewhere around 100 before he gained entry. WOCO has a ways to go. But, since he had the cajones to direct it at Ritaanz, I'll credit him with 25 for that one. You're about to lose your spot, by the way, since you're getting abit timid with your barbs and preface most of them with an apology or a promise of chocolate or something similarly ridiculous. The jury is still out.

I'm sorry, Don. Oops, I did it again. You have a good point about "earning" a spot in whatever you want to call the group. But, you are wrong on at least one point. First, it was Beagle who coined the term Forum Mafia. Right Beag? Therefore, only he has the right to give someone the boot and I really doubt he would do that to me. And, do you really think the ladies believe I'm reformed enough to kicked out? I just know how far to push and when to sweet talk them. Bet that last statement gets me in trouble.
