There, there, now. It's all right. You're fine. You're safe. You're in no danger. x;-) And type an 8, a hyphen and endbracket to make the silly face. x:-)

The name of the song is LOVING YOU HAS MADE ME BANANAS with words and music by Guy Marks. And the two guys who recorded it - the infamous Joy Boys - were Ed Walker and Willard Scott (yes that Willard Scott), of WRC Radio. I can't figure out when, but it was pre-1972.
I remember it well - it was done in imitation of the old Rudy Vallee style of singing through a megaphone, and it sounded as if it had been recorded on a cylinder phonograph. It predated a version of "Puttin' on the Ritz" that was done in a similar style.

Thanx for the consolation. Doesn't happen very often. Felt good.
How do you get those yellow faces?

This is what I have found. The web site that actually had this song on it - oh yes there is one - is http://www.geocities.com/Nashville/1761/bananas.html
