I just want to clarify this...I can reduce a salary person's wage and an hourly person's hours to reduce costs correct. But I can't do the opposite. Correct?

Does this not create a problem with minimum wage? Are you deducting from hourly wage or the ee hours? At our plant by deducting 10% of the wages that could possibly put a new hire under the min wage.

I have to agree with Jen on this issue. I worked 40 hours a week, went to college full time, and had a family. That was hard work..but once I got into the "real world" I found out that college didn't teach me near as much as that 40 hour job.

Part of it will depend on how you are paying the sales rep. We pay our sales rep commission only so their isn't a big problem with the fact that they are out of state.

We use the Selecttime Attendance Control. It was reasonably priced for a small company like mine ( we have 60 ee). This will track tardiness, absences, fmla, vacation etc. You can track by day or minutes. Hope this helps.
