One of the past largest employers in this area is now just a shell of its former self. Some of the local electronics manufacturers began as suppliers to this giant. We called them the Big House. Many of their ee's perceived themselves as better a…

Did I ever mention about the time I interviewed the stripper?
-
If i'm 65, you should have retired years ago, Ritaanz.
-
Next time, I'll just email it to you Joannie and you can post it. We're confusing Paul. He probably has his underwear on backwards today too.
-
Maybe he thinks we look alike.
-
Huh?
-
It's not my fault. All I have in the refrigerator is diet MD. Not quite the real thing.
-
So now you look like what Mr Ed would have looked like if he had been fitted with braces?

OK, I'm missing one tooth - still have all my wisdom teeth, though. And another tooth has a cap. Now the average adult has 32 teeth, I have 30.5. YOu claim to have only 24, that means you are missing 8. So you must either have false teeth or big…

Q, I have no clue about any of these. Well OK, I do remember 8 tracks in cars. I do have all my own teeth. Are all your parts real?
-
Thank you, and you are obviously younger than me. Feel better?
-
It just so happens that today is the 555th anniversary of the fall of the Byzantine Empire. I'm exactly 500 years younger.

DMK, I had a 1978 Pinto I bought new and kept it for 3 years. Nice little car. My first car was a 67 Ford Falcon. I have clear memories of car shopping with my dad when he bought a 55 Chevy.

Dutch, I've put on 2 or 3 lbs too. Hand crank windows, yes. Three on the tree, no.
-
Yep, there were cars then that got excellent gas mileage, but they had no power accessories. Bare bones transportation. Less weight, less powerful engines and better economy. Trouble is now everyone wants power windows and all the amenities that …

I remember those, Dutch. I had an 87 Dodge Colt and would get around 41 mpg on the highway and at least 28 around town. I put alloy wheels and wide tires on it - it was a blast and economical.

Marina, read this article before you buy. http://www.roadandtrack.com/article.asp?section_id=3&article_id=6400 It could be a fun little car to drive, but just around town or the city, not for distances. I still think it's perfect f…

I think people buy them for the novelty. The smart car get 33/41 mpg. A Honda Civic gas powered coupe gets 25/36 mpg, a Civic hybrid gets 40/45 mpg. Marina, if you get one, post a picture of yourself and the car.
-
OK, I'm trying to imagine Paul driving one of these. The smart fortwo passion coupe. http://www.smartusa.com/smart-fortwo-passion.aspx

Walk to work. That's an idea. It's 23 miles for me, if I start now I'll make it by starting time tomorrow morning. I drove over 500 miles this weekend. Friends called Saturday afternoon needing a ride home from central PA - their car broke down.…

I hope that joke doesn't offend Q.... that's right, she's really not blonde.
-
Well, she got mine right.
-
Have fun. Has anything exciting happened recently on the forum?
-
Paul, are you trying to suck up to Rita?
-
Huh? I wish my good friend Rita a happy birthday and you tell her to ignore me?

Interesting considering back in when Bill was president the Clintons had been wildly accused of having several people murdered.

Paul, it's the same justification that those who kill abortionists use. The extremists in the Pro-life movement justify killing doctors who perform abortions because they are ultimately saving the lives of so many unborn babies as a result of the d…
