He's finally gone, thank goodness! I wasn't surprised with the bottom three. Next week I think it will probably be George Huff unless he magically pulls something out of his hat.

Even though Fantasia and LaToya are fantastic, they are to me, in the "professional" category. I would like to see Diana or Jasmine win as they're young and could be molded into great performers because they have very good voices and perform well. …

OK, who's the loser tonight? My money is on John Stevens. How about the rest of you?

Quentin is a little geeky but I give him credit for having the nerve to criticize the performers. He was starting to sound a little like Simon... John Stevens, JPL, and Diana DiGarmo have got to go. LaToya, Jennifer and Fantasia were fantastic bu…

After last night, John Stevens, Camile, and JPL have to go hopefully over the next three weeks. They we simply awful. I'd also like to see Fantasia go as well but doubt that that will happen. Go George Huff! Doesn't he have the most wonderful si…

The redheaded guy and Camille have got to go. So does JPL at some point. I could not believe LaToya was in the bottom three. She is actually my favorite to win--well, maybe between her and George. He has such a winning smile. I am hoping eventu…

No, it isn't you. I can't stand her personality either. She is very arrogant. I think the contestants should take the criticisms with a smile and move on--that would be the classy thing to do.
-
I totally agree with you. Matt's personality is very grating and he definitely needs to go. He would make a horrible Idol. I got hooked on this show last year and couldn't wait for it to start again this year. The show is just good, clean compet…

I like Food Network too. My favorite is Rachel Ray's 30 Minute Meals. I've tried her recipes and my dinners always take more than 30 minutes--more like an hour and a half. Her recipes are very good but I guess I just don't move as fast as she doe…

That was a good one--thanks for the early morning laugh.

Great story HS. I was rotfl. Had to make copies and pass them around to share with my friends. Thanks.

I don't believe for a minute it was an accident. That top came off way too easily when Justin pulled on it. I think they knew exactly what was going to happen. And...isn't live TV supposed to be on a delay just to prevent things like that from be…

The way our garbagemen throw our cans after dumping them I wouldn't tip them a cent. The cans always end up in the middle of my driveway and I have to get out and move them before pulling in. They also leave half the garbage in the cans too. I on…

HRQ: My sympathies. I had quite extensive surgery three years ago. I was in the operating room for 8 hours. I was so sick when I woke up from the anesthesia but when I got up and moved around I felt better. It just takes time to recover so go …

I couldn't get my darn finger out of the light socket!

The Forum seems to be possessed and the emotion icon short cuts don't work either--keeps saying "error on page". :-(

Be careful what you wish for.

Definitely the Marlins. I think everyone is tired of the Yankees already. My opinion--Derek Jeeter is creepy and UGLY and I'm tired of his commercial where he lies to Steinbrenner. What an example they're setting for children who see that commerc…

This resume definitely sounds like some of the ones we have received in our organization. A large amount of our employees are European and this resume reads like they speak. We too get a lot of resumes/applications with qualifications that don't e…

Actually, I'm kept in the dark and fed s _ _ t. No showers needed.

Last night in the real estate transfer section of the local paper, someone named "Peter Dingle" bought some property. I think I'd go by my middle name.

I have seen the HIPAA posters in doctors' offices. You would only have to provide the HIPAA notice if you are required to comply with HIPAA. Since I do not see any PHI, I am not required to provide the notice.
-
I'm not familiar with the HIPAA poster as we do not have to comply with HIPAA. My take is that if you fall under HIPAA then the poster would be mandatory. I do not have the HIPAA poster displayed.

I-9's and supporting documentation need to be kept in a file separate from the employee's file. I keep all of mine in a three-ring notebook. I do not copy documents. You don't have to copy the documentation as long as you look at them and verify …

Check your private messages. I copied the wording from ours into a message for you.

For those of you who need an AAP but haven't had time to do it, just hope you don't get that dreaded letter from the OFCCP telling you that they're auditing you. If you do get an audit letter you'd better know what you're doing and have time to do …

What exactly are you looking for HRUSA? I can share some nightmares with you concerning AAPs.

The I-9 topic was discussed back in October in the HR employment law section. Do a search and you will find it: subject "I-9". Usually new W-4's aren't available on the IRS website until the beginning of the year. I always check during the month …
