Thank you! I am honored!
Me too! You know, we are just so intelligent it wouldn't fit it only one person.:D

Careful what you look for in the archives. There is some bad mojo buried there.

I don't think Nae was referring to the smell of your cooking.
What do you mean Joannie?
Paul, I hate it when I can't tell if you are serious, or just being a dork.

I guess the good news is that if MLS decided to do the same thing, everyone who has posted on this page would be safe.

Well that certainly explains the mysterious fog in Oklahoma:D

We aren't due for renewal until July 1, but I contacted our broker last week to get some idea for budget purposes. Groups comparable to ours are coming in with 7-15%. Hope that holds.

A company in the area is printing pink t-shirts that say: Green Saves Trees Pink Saves These (with arrrows pointing to the breasts) Save the Ta-Tas. Kinda catchy, isn't it?

My DIL was just hired at a national chain Mexican restaurant. Part of her paperwork included signing a statement that she would not "badmouth" the restaurant on any social networking site while or after being employed. I'm having flashes of demons…

Just read this in an article - 40 medical marijuana workers in California have joined the Teamsters. Earlier this year another group had joined the United Food & Commercial Workers. Unionized pot growers! What next?:-/

Carol, We, too, had that problem and considered on-line, but most of our employees are not computer savvy, if you can believe that in this day and age. Our resolution was to bring all new hires to the corporate office for a 3-4 hour orientati…

Coffee, I think I would report it to the police. Reasoning - we have a policy concerning proprietary information and unauthorized dissemination thereof. Company files would fall under this policy. By e-mailing them to herself, she has stole…

I would definitely alert the employees whose PHI was breached, but alerting the police would depend on the circumstances surrounding the breach. Were e-files hacked? Physical files broken in to? Mail inadvertently opened? Who committed the bre…

I'm sorry, lorilori, I have looked but can not find a listing form revisions. Perhaps your employment law attorney might be able to provide. As for your second question, I believe the form must be signed and documentation provided within the 1st t…

First, check your state law regarding employee access to their personnel files. Some states require you to provide copies to the employees. My state does not require it, so, in this case, I would allow the employee to sit in my office and review t…
We have about 160 FMLA-eligible employees, and we do ours the old fashioned way. By hand. Bless you, Outlook & Excel!!!
That's exactly why I was asking Paul how many ee's he has. We are around 120 empl…

Paul, how many employees do you have that qualify for FMLA?

I went to the website, but just could not bring myself to press play.

We have this under "Essential Duties and Responsibilities": This position will cross train with other positions as deemed necessary by management.
How do you spell evil? F R A N K
Wait a minute, Nae, you have already named me evil on this thread. I take offense at being called the same name as F R A N K.

It's Paul. He can never let anyone else have the last word. The rest of us have just gotten tired of responding to him.:D

BethK, you are gone again!

Oh no! Not again. Haiku drives me so crazy I think I will scream

We were expecting at least a 10% on health, but were ecstatic to receive a 7%. Disability coverage is another story; rates increased 160%. No, that is not a misprint. They went from $3.25 per $500 coverage to $8.45.

Exempts have 5 days sick leave per year with no carry over. No sick leave for non-exempts.

Welcome to the forum. With a doctor's release that it is okay for her to work the one day, I don't see a problem with it as long as it is her idea to do so. If the company is requiring her to come in, then I think you would have an issue.
