And the doves? Maybe I'm assuming too much here but shouldn't you eat what you shoot?
-
Wendy's the restaurant?

The recipe would sure be a hit for many of my relatives cuz they like spicy food so I may just give it a try soon while it's still in the single digits in NH. Thanks for sharing!!!

I know people who will eat buffalo wings WITH Hot Sauce until sweat runs off their forehead and tears stream down from their eyes...then they'll say that it's not that Hot.
-
Nah, that's probably to numb the pain all that pepper will cause the tongue and throat...
-
4-5 Tablespoons of chili powder and 1-2 Tablespoons of cayenne pepper??? WOW that's HOT. I know that some people like it very hot like that but I'd have to have 1 part chili to 2 parts sour cream with that much heat! =P~

UGH...add it to chili...

I tried it once in Mexico and it was nasty. I can't believe they did that to something as fine as chocolate!
-
ewart...my boss also puts chocolate in his chili. I thought he was crazy until I tasted some that he brought in and it was very good.

Thanks! Cumin is one of my favorite spices. I learned to use it from my Venezuelan in-laws and out-laws. I'd bet it's in every kitchen/garden in South America. I know admitting this is dangerous but I don't YET have a cast iron dutch oven. x:-8 …

Safety, sometimes recipes that you invent on the spot are the best! I have made a hodge-podge kind of chili with 3-4 different kinds of canned beans (drained), some diced tomatoes, a jar of salsa and some sort of burger. I've even added a can of s…

Deer and Cows are considered clean animals by our friend Leviticus :-)

Have you tried mixing pudding or sour cream into the batter? I've heard that helps.
-
I think it's called pound cake because you gain a pound for each slice you eat...sigh...but put some fresh strawberries on top and the guilt starts to fade. I prefer Sara Lee too.

We have monthly luncheons during the winter months at our plant. One of them (usually held in January) is a Chili Fest. I've tried a white chili like this one but didn't have the recipe. Thanks!!!

We just bought some Florida Oranges from a school fundraiser so that should make them REALLY yummy!

Somewhere North in the summer or South in the winter.

For the unsavy people like me, what's braunsweiger? Some sort of cheese?
-
Not really. But in some cultures it could be seen as baking. ;;)
-
I'm curious why anyone would put eggs into their pie crust.

>Few things on earth are as good as real, fresh whipped cream, lightly sweetened with a bit of sugar and vanilla> MMmm...Amen to that! Yes, some day I'll produce a cookbook with all my "adapted" recipes. It should be a big hit )
-
I actually made the recipe and here's what I would do differently if I were to make it again. Cut the pumpkin/pudding portion by 1/3...way too much. Also, I'd whip up my own whipped cream instead of using cool whip. That way I could cut the sweet…

Enjoy! We'll probably have lots of snow by Saturday but I'm sure it'll be nice in MS.

>I'll bet you five dollars if Jesus showed up, >he'd eat my fried oysters and catfish! Not to >mention my fried turkey. I think you'd lose. /:) >What did Leviticus say about the scavenging >turkey? Turkey, free-range or wild, is c…

Kind of a long drive for me to be in your neighborhood but thanks for the invite...! x;-)

I believe the rule is that the fish needs to have both fins and scales to be clean.

Leviticus 11 is a books of the bible where the list of 'clean' and 'unclean' foods appears. It was not only a command for God's people of that time but I believe it's common sense for today. He doesn't tell us not to eat all fish. I do enjoy the …

I was raised not to eat pork and seafood since about 5 yrs old due to them being "unclean" foods (biblically). I can't say that I've never had a piece of pork or seafood but if I have, it wasn't on purpose. I now don't eat it for health conviction…

I eat chicken, turkey and occasionally even beef. But never pork or seafood or any animal I've personally met.

Oh we made the potatoes too and you're right, they came out delicious!
