Is anyone going to the Atlanta Symposium? I am going and just wondered if there would be others from the forum there.

I'm going to be there. I'm actually speaking on "Power, Politics and Influence - What They Don't Teach You in School" during lunch the first day. I'd love to meet some of you Forumites "live and in person!" Do you want to meet at a table for breakfast on Thursday morning so we can introduce ourselves?

I don't know about the T-shirts, but I will meet you for breakfast on Thursday morning. I have an HR Hero T-shirt, which I will lay on the table so you can pick me out.

I will be attending as well. I Look forward to meeting others from the Florida area. I went last year for the first time but went to Vegas. There was a lot of information, but I did not get to meet too many from my area. I look forward to this one, so I can meet others from my area.

Dean- I lived in O Town 12 years before moving to SW Florida. I ran a few golf cources, you play golf? I shall look for you and Margaret (and the HR hero shirt)at breakfast.

btw-Do you have any Brooklyn Pizza Parlors near you? I have only seen them in Orlando. If you do, would you bring a cheese calzone with you? I have taken them on planes before and once people figure out where that yummy smell is coming from, they are really friendly! They want some (sure beats those stale pretzels the airline serves :-)

Okay, since I'm going to be in both Atlanta and Las Vegas, I'll bring my HR hero T-shirt and lay it on a table at breakfast so we can all find each other. I checked the schedule. Let's meet where they are serving breakfast at about 7:30 am. That will give us time to meet and visit with each other before the program starts.

It's a glorious day for me! It's just been decided that I can attend the AEIS seminar in Atlanta. I'd love to meet all the Forum attendees there, and will definitely plan to meet for breakfast with Margaret and others. Let me know how many are going to come, and I'll score some T-shirts for everyone!

OK Anne, I'll state it here also. You have let the cat out of the bag. I believe it was James who said there were no more t-shirts left. As a condition of receiving a shirt one had to post a picture on the Forum so, when you give out these new found clothing items take a picture of the recipients and post it, were patiently waiting. :oo

Well, [b]I'm[/b] not going to the seminar because my company won't spring for it. xx( But they're sending Brad Forrister, Tony Kessler, Anne "I'm Going to the Seminar Nyah-Nyah" Williams, and a posse of others from M. Lee Smith Publishers.

I'm not sure if we have any T-shirts in stock now. Anne can check with the HR Hero Clothing Division's North American headquarters -- it used to be in a cubicle down the hall but then it moved downstairs somewhere. x:D

This will get you out of the boring seminar for an hour or so and you can still charge a meal on your travel report. I may even pick up some Hanes T-shirts and write something on them with a Sharpie.

Whatever IS an 'advanced' symposium anyway? Does this imply there is some secret level of information out there about HR issues that is a notch above the information we might obtain in the typical seminar? x:-)

Alright, lets see if I have this symposium, breakfast plan correct- There will be a table with an HR hero shirt on it. Forum people wishing to break bread together should be at said table at 7:30 am...Is that correct?
