I just got a call from the gang down in Atlanta at our Advanced Employment Issues Symposium. They're having a great time -- I mean they're working diligently on their employers' behalf. Anyway, they sent this pic.
James, Thanks for getting it posted, we did not want to let parabeagle down when he specifically requested a 7:30 am breakfast foto! I am in the front with the hr shirt draped over me because Margaret said I was the "littlest"! We did get free hr hero shirts, I may get another one tomorrow!! hehe. You are a prince of a moderator, thanks for working so fast! I will go back and tell the others we are "famous"#-o scorpio
Beagle, hmm, human? Yes, I guess so! Actually, I got over the whining, jumped up, grabbed the shirt and with the help of Margaret and Ann we found a photographer, used my cell phone camera and VOILA :-) made a picture just for you! That shirt comes to my knee's and although I have been assured that repeated washes in HOT water will make it fit, I don't think so :-)!!! Time for "Lunch with the lawyers" gotta go! scorpio
LAST EDITED ON 10-08-04 AT 11:54AM (CST)[br][br]I never tried washing it in hot water -- figured it would fade. But if I keep eating and not exercising, the shirt will be snug in no time. :-S
Edit: And Scorpio, please tell Tony Kessler not to worry about his department while he's in Atlanta. Nobody called in "sick" or left work early, there wasn't a drunken three-day luau with endless pina coladas, hula dancing, hammocks, heat lamps, and a truckload of sand, and no one - and I mean NO ONE - shot off bottle rockets inside, not even those small ones that are pretty easy to aim down the hallway without leaving real bad scorch marks on the walls. x}>
The picture was taken within 30 minutes of 7:30 am, give or take a few! I was not looking at my watch,,,aaawwwww you guys are mean. I did what I said would be done and still you are picking, picking, picking...And, excuse me I have plenty of hair! scorpio
See now, Margaret is absolutely right. Where were you guy's? You know what Margaret? I think they are jealous#-o It just came to me, like in a flash xflash - Too bad, too sad, you were not there!!! scorpio
If you will all note, I specifically said that Ray and I would have had more hair than the GUYS. Looks like they could have used a few less follically-challenged among the male of the species at that conference. x;-)
And not once did I complain about the picture! x:-)
Dang, dang, dang!!! I missed you guys in Atlanta. I overslept and missed the breakfast. Since I overslept, I also had to sit at the front of the room, so everyone knew I was late...that's what I get. I really enjoyed the conference and wish I would've met scorpio, dean, margaret and anne in person. Maybe next time. I thought the picture was great!

Maybe we should have gone, Ray. From the looks of the picture, we'd have had more hair than the other guys.

Atlanta was a fun time - too bad the rest couldn't make it. Rest assured we had plenty to talk about ...
