PA Dutch Shoo-Fly Pie

Syrup:
1 Cup Molasses
3 Eggs
1/2 cup Brown Sugar
1 Cup Hot Water
1 tsp. baking soda (dissolved in the hot water)

Crumbs:
2 1/2 Cups Flour
1/3 Lard (I've used Crisco too)
1 Cup Brown Sugar

Put half of the syrup in pie crust(can use regular crisco crust) then add 1/2 of the crumbs. Add remaining syrup and other 1/2 of crumbs. Bake 10 minutes 400 and reduce to 350 for 50 minutes.
