ONE DISH DELIGHT

Anybody got a great recipe for a one dish meal? My guys will eat anything with hamburger meat in it...but chicken's ok too. Like everybody else, I'm looking for something easy to do after a long day!

That is one of my favorite recipes in the whole world. We make it all the time. (probably too much)

My mom used to make this and we all loved it. Has always worked for my husband and kids, too! Mom called it "Busy Day Beef Stuff" and it's easy & quick!

1 1/2# ground beef
8 oz. cooked macaroni
8 oz. American or cheddar cheese
1 can French (freedom?!) fried onion rings
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 can tomato soup

Brown beef and cook macaroni. Mix together with other ingredients in a casserole dish. Cover and microwave 10 minutes.

SHEPPARD'S PIE

Brown 1 lb. of ground beef and drain. Mix in one can Cream of Mushroom soup.
Spray casserole dish with non-stick cooking spray.
Transfer meat mixture to dish and spread on the bottom.
Add 2 cans of drained mixed vegetables and spread over the meat mixture.
Mix up instant mashed potatoes or the frozen mashed potatoes according to their directions and spread on top of vegetables.
Sprinkle mashed potatoes with shredded cheese.
Bake at 350 for about 30-35 minutes.

This is a St. Patty's day tradition at our house but is requested frequently during the year. Enjoy!
