The people in the story seem silly to me. Obviously someone is playing a practical joke; why don't they run to the gnome instead of away from it?

Let me tell you a bit about Chuck Norris. Back in the 80's, my son was competing in karate tournaments. We were at the national championship tournament in OKC. Chuck Norris and his entourage made an appearance at the tournament during the day. Note - he was not competing; this was an amatuer tournament. His majesty, Mr. Norris, refused tot talk to the kids and would not sign autographs. What kind of role model is that for children who obviously idolized him?

Chuck Norris does not need the adoration of tiny children because they are children and therefore insignificant to Chuck. Chuck Norris eats children for breakfast, and washes them down with a big glass of whoop a$$ juice.

Then he practices his roundhouse kicks...not because Chuck Norris needs to exercise but because calories are scared of roundhouse kicks.

"getting it" - Get what? I have noticed that Chuck (while wearing cowboy boots) must kick the bad guys multiple times to get them down. Having two boys who are both blackbelts if someone were kicked up the side of the head by a spin cresent kick or a reverse spin cresent kick by someone wearing cowboy boots, one kick is all it would take. Guess he is just gettin' older like several of us.
