Since the goin is a bit heavy over on the employment thread, and since Pricehcs hasn't posted a test for today and Sam was celebrated yesterday, I'll jump in with some good news, for me that is. I auditioned for and got the role of Will Rogers in the Will Rogers Follies, to be staged in the 1100 seat McMorran center on May 13, 14 and 15 in Port Huron Mi. Some of you know I've been 'actin up' for several years, and have always wanted to do this part -so- here I go. Seven songs, about 55 pages of dialogue, a few rope tricks to learn, some dances with the chorus,I can't wait to get started. Wish me a broken tibia! Psst: the woman cast as my wife is a trained singer and a real knockout and the chorus is 16 beautiful young things, so at least the next nine weeks will afford some opportunity for easy viewing.

Hey that's great Shadowfax. Does the orchestra need a bass trombone player? This winter I started playing with a community orchestra and we had a concert this past Sunday. We played Gershwin's "Rhapsody In Blue" - one of my favorites for years. Great fun. Rope 'em, Cowboy.

Congratulations!! You must be very talented to get the part. But we all knew that! Dialogue, songs, rope-twirling - whew! Sound like more work than HR! Way to go! They're lucky they discovered you.
