I've been a little quiet on the forum as of late. Lots of "stuff" going on and I thought I would share.
After seven months of contracting (luckily at just one company) I have been offered a new job as a Recruiter. The job is not with the company I'm currently contracting at - it's with a healthcare/rehab organization. My last day at my contracting job will be May 28th and I will be starting the new one after Memorial Day. I'm so excited!
Also, I'd like to share that I have met a special someone via (yes!) eHarmony. Everything is going swimmingly and I'm very happy about it. No, I'm not getting married or anything (yet!) but we have recently decided to date exclusively and are having a great time. So for all of you single folks out there, here is a happy and positive story about Internet dating! x:)

Well, congratulations on both, I'm not sure if its harder to find a good job or a good man.
We'll all be invited to the big day when it does happen, right? x;-)
What's that saying...."A good man is hard to find and a h......Wait I can't say that on here!

Cinderella, congratulations on the new job. I loved recruiting when I was able to do it exclusively and I'm sure you'll enjoy it as well. As for the e-boyfriend, he'd better treat you right or he'll have to answer to Don and me! And Ray. And Marc. And Ritaanz. And everyone else! Good luck and happiness to you.
Now you know why I didn't respond before Ray. Had I been around, you would have heard from one of your geographic colleagues first! x:-) Sorry that we didn't get to have lunch when you were only five blocks away, though. x:-)
As she's mentioned, I'm too old for her. x;-)
I'm sure Internet dating doesn't carry the stigma it used to, but the problem with it is that it interferes with one's ability to become a frustrated, bitter, cantankerous old man. x;-)
Anyway, this guy may have just found the glass slipper or mugged the prince and stole it. Make sure you do a thorough background check. Perhaps his fingerprints are still on the slipper?
And beware if he uses a cartoon character as his picture, something suspicious about that.
