How many of you will be attending the symposium in Las Vegas or Atlanta?

I am considering attending the one in Las Vegas.

Just wondering has anyone gone to one before and if you have can you give me some insight to the events and if it is worth it to attend.

My VP wants to know if it worth the expense, I think so but some back up would be appreciated.

I submitted my budget this week and requested money for the one in Atlanta. This will be the first MLS one that I've attended. Copy the material that MLS sends with comments from other symposiums. Maybe that would help. My budget won't be approved until May, so I'm not 100% sure I'm going.

I was just thinking the same thing. There isn't much chance that I will be able to as our budget here is very tight lately. However, it would be cool to meet some of the other forumites.

I have been to five of them in the past seven years and I attended the one in Vegas last year. I have to admit that by the afternoon on the final day I was very ready to leave, but I always come away with new helpful information. I would say that it is worth your time and money. Last year I went to the pre-conference seminar where Margaret Morford did her documentation presentation and it was excellent. Have fun.

I'm not sure yet. I usually go every other year (because of the expense), but I got to go last year after going the year before because the topics were all things that we felt we needed to learn more about.
