I'm on vacation next week!

Yippee! Just wanted to let you all know I'm on vacation next week. I'll be checking in when I can, just not sure if I can post from home or not (my turn to prove how computer illiterate I am). Why is it we just can't leave this forum for any amount of time. It's one of the first things I do in the morning, each and every day.........

I often have trouble sleeping and find myself logged onto the forum at 3 or 4 AM... just to see what I might have missed since leaving the day before. I am able to log on and respond from home and my computer skills are at the "computers for dummies" level.

Enjoy your vacation. Are you going away?

We're going to do the Mohawk Trail - Rt 2, and enjoy the foliage, Berkshire Mts., and Yankee Candle. Also, there's the new grandbaby that I really want to hold and cuddle as much as possible. Forgot to mention wash the windows, change the curtains, etc....... I can pretty much guarantee that all of my good intentions about the house will fall to the wayside...

Curtains, Schmurtains! That new baby smell does not last long enough - go forth and cuddle.

That is great. I went to college in North Adams and there is nothing like the Berkshires in the fall. I grew up in the city and was completely awed by the foliage. City trees go from green to nothing.

As far as the housework goes, I'd much rather kiss and cuddle a new baby than wash windows any day.
