Annual Review

I know I'm new to the forum but I'm heading in for the third, and hopefully last part, of my annual review. Ackkkkkkkkkkkkkk

Should be a review of the goals and objectives my boss (who is also the owner of the company) and I discussed last week as well as a compensation review.

The first two were good, positive meetings and I'm pretty sure this one will be too, just wanted some positive vibes!!

I am sure you will do well. It sounds like things are going swimmingly so far, so don't be afraid to jump in and go for it.

This year wasn't too terribly bad. I have had a lot of professional growth this past year and accomplished some very important goals for the company and we both knew it, so it was almost fun! Plus, I work for the greatest boss anyone could ever hope to work for which helps a lot!

Send some of that luck my way . . . I'm waiting for my annual review, (which was due in July, ya, ya, I know) . . . . and once it's through I'm requesting to go part time. Whew! I'll let you know if it flies through or if I crash and burn.

I had my review once I came back off maternity leave last year, received a substantial raise and a really good review. I worked some from home while on maternity leave - the controller filled in some - he defintely made me know they appreicated my extra effort.

We are a custom home builder here in Central Florida. We build retirement communities and currently have three active developments up and running with a fourth in the works. We're a small, family owned company with about 180 employees and we're definitely kickin' some a$$!

Or was that a rhetorical question?

I know how you feel. I have my annual review at the end of the month and I have a NEW (2 months new) supervisor, so it is going to be interesting. It sounds like you have alot of examples of good work you have accomplished, so no worries. Have a good day!
