Reasonable Suspicion Testing

We do NOT do pre-employment drug testing or random testing. It was recommended to me that we have a reasonable suspicion testing policy, so if we suspect something is going on, we can test. Anybody have anything like that? Does it tie in with accidents, or is that separate?

    Since we have to abide by FMCSA regs, we do pre-employment, reasonable suspicion, random, post-accident, return to duty and follow-up testing. Just know that for reasonable suspicion testing, the management staff needs to be trained before they can reasonably speculate. We also have a form that management must complete before taking one of our employees for a reasonable suspicion test.
