More than 3 day rule

When the "more than 3 days" rule is used, and the ee was also sick on the weekend, does that count for FMLA when we do not work the weekend. So the ee was out sick Thur, Fri, and sick the both Sat. Sun. Would that Thurs and Fri be FMLA given that we are closed on the weekend?

No, calendar days need to be counted.

juju is right. The Act never once mentions 'business days'. Sorry Ethel, I was trying to post a quick route to the answer.
