Sponsorship Posting

I am new to the HR Forum, but want to say I think it is a great resource.

Our organization does not sponsor employees, at a recent EEOC training, the facilitator said we should have a posting indicating our organization does not sponsor employees, that way, if an employee requests sponsorship, there is less chance for discrimination being perceived.

Does anyone have a posting format/verbiage they would be willing to share?

  • HRPHX: Welcome to the FORUM; you may need to be more broad in your area of concern for "sponsorship". If you are asking about foreign national sponsorship, then I would think you will get little help, most of us do not have sponsorship programs either. Tell us more and we will try to assist.

  • Thanks pork1. I am asking about foreign national sponsorship. It sounds like a standard posting would do?? The EEOC trainer did not get into specifics, only stated we should have a sign that we do not sponsor foreign nationals.
