HIPAA Internal Investigations

Our HIPAA Privacy Officer is responsible for investigating any complaints regarding violations of HIPAA. However, she is very inexperienced in investigating and many times henders the process. Has anyone ever seen a training program on how to handle HIPAA investigations or just internal investigations in general? We would love to try and provide some training to help and then decide if she is the correct person for the responsibility!
