What do you do when an employee just does not respond to emails or requests to complete their part in the performance appraisal process?

    This is an age old question and it has a lot to do with whether or not your Company actualloy cares abhout appraisals.  Often, they pay a lot of lip service but don't really care if the work gets done.  If you have requested face to face and by email and have not had a timely response, check with your supervisor.  If you are the top dog in HR, chat with the other person's supervisor.
