Crazy Shoes!

The women's footwear market has become insane - and my tried and true rules for appropriate office footwear no longer apply. All types of footwear have rubber soles. Horrible Crocks cover the toes. Flip flop looking shoes cost a fortune. Is anyone else out there having difficulty with this issue? I do not want to banish sandles - but my idea of dressy and everyone else's seem to be a world apart! Also - I'd love to hear how everyone is dealing with cell phones....... Thanks!

Cell phones are the bane of my existence.  Killing productivity is only a small piece of why they are killing me - Facebook updates, texting, etc.  We gave up on the shoes - though our female count is relatively low.  I can vouch for any man out there in saying - it is always better off to have any lady in your life (spouse, girlfriend, or cubicle neighbor) comfortable at all times!  Wear whatever shoes you want ladies!  [:D]
