Radio Resumes
I wanted to see if anyone else had heard about this. Most of the Clear Channel radio stations in my area (Washington DC Metro Area) are advertising for people to submit their information to have a Radio Resume ad on the airwaves. I have heard a couple of the radio resumes over the past few days and they have actually been done fairly well. The radio stations are using this as a way to help out those that are currently out of work or looking for a new position.
I know Clear Channel is a national company, so not sure if they are doing this in some of the other metro areas.
Those in the DC area - Cappy and others, have you heard these yet?

Yes, they have these on a few of the radio stations out here in Las Vegas. I also believe that they are all Clear Channel stations. I have only heard one resume but it was nothing that stood out in my mind. More of just an "I'm a hard working, dependable person looking for a solid company where I can come and contribute to their success." It is definately an interesting idea. I like best that apparently these radio stations are doing this for free to the person submitting their resume. I would be interested to find out how many people get interviews and/or jobs from their radio resume.
