Car Allowances

I see the posts regarding car allowances v. lease etc.  My question is - What are some specific dollar values companies are paying in terms of monthly allowances?  Is it 400, 500 or greater per month?

    I think it is going to depend on whether you want a tax-accountable plan or not.  And also how large of a benefit you want to give. And on what the employer and employee feel is fair.  And what the job descriptions are/how much they will be driving for company business.

    I know some companies that have a tiered allowance depending on how far you are up in the company.

    The last one we paid was $300 a month plus mileage at the lower rate.  All other employees use a company provided car.
