Alt work week - California

Looking for feedback on alternate work week specifically 4/10 in California. What hurdles did you have to overcome, how did the employees take to the change, how do you handle OT?

We haven't moved to an alternate workweek schedule, but I would imagine some employees would love it (save on gas, possibly childcare costs) and others would dislike it. As with any change you will want to come up with a strategy to communicate it with employees and tell them why you are making it and when it will be affective. You will need to first communicate it with managers and answer their questions. I hope someone else can offer more information from their experience, but I think depending on your business, your customers would react more negatively to it than employees.
