Compensation / Incentive Packages for Overseas Assignments???

We are sending a senior manager from our northern virginia office over to Dubai for at least 3 months in a business development effort.  I need to put together a compensation package for him for his time in Dubai but we have not done anything like this in the past.  Does any one have insight on the topic or know where I might be able to find data regarding what other companies pay for this type of assignment?

I think some companies try to offer the employee about the same level of living as he/she has in the United States and offer some benefits to help make the move easier, including language classes, a bonus upon completion, housing allowance etc.You can find international compensation data from firms like Mercer, etc..

You may also want to consider items such as a pre-assignment
medical check-up (vaccinations), tax equalization policy, and culture training.
