I'm the boss, Pilgrim! Make my day!

Hey, did you see that new poll by careerbuilder.com on which movie stars people would want for their bosses?
I can understand nice guy Tom Hanks coming in as top male, but John Wayne and Clint Eastwood came in second and third. Maybe employees secretly want a boss that dominates with action and few words.
Julia Roberts came in first for women, but don't think her Erin Brockovich wardrobe would pass most dress codes.

Depends on which Russell Crowe persona you get as boss.
Did anyone watch Celebrity Apprentice. I think Gene Simmons would make a good boss (not The Donald).

I think it is because John Wayne and Clint Eastwood come across as confident and trustworthy. You feel that there is nothing that they could not take care of and that is very appealing. They would go to bat for you in any situation. I think that many employees don't feel that their bosses are strong advocates for them.
Here's the list.
10. Gwyneth Paltrow
9. Hillary Swank
8. Helen Mirren
7. Nicole Kidman
6. Charlize Theron
5. Susan Sarandon
4. Helen Hunt
3. Reese Witherspoon
2. Jodie Foster
1. Julia Roberts
The following are the top ten former male Academy Award winners workers say they would most like to work for:
10. Anthony Hopkins
9. Robert DeNiro
8. Jamie Foxx
7. Jack Nicholson
6. Robert Redford
5. Stephen Spielberg
4. Denzel Washington
3. Clint Eastwood
2. John Wayne
1. Tom Hanks
I can't believe Robert DeNiro made it. Funny that Helen Mirren made it, but not Meryl Streep (shades of Prada). And Anthony Hopkins, guess people like working for royalty. Even though she's not an Academy Award winner, I'd like to work for Tyra Banks!
I would be happy with any of the female bosses from the above list: particularly Theron, Kidman, Witherspoon, or Swank. Foster, Roberts, Paltrow, or Hunt would be fine too. In terms of my rationale....do I really need to provide it?
And in an unrelated aside, has Angelina Jolie ever won an Oscar?
