I am a librarian in Onondaga County in New York State. I have been looking into my options to help cover my maternity leave. I have bought short-term disabilty but that barely covers a thing. Then a friend told me about New York State disablity. I asked my personnel department about it and they said they don't offer it. Is there something I can do to get this coverage or is there and alternative.
