Day after Holiday Pay

I don't know if I am doing this correctly, but I had questions and thought I could just post a message and possibly get replies, but I can't figure out how to do it, so I thought I would just type to someone in hopes to a response. 

 I have an employee, that does not have any vacation/sick/personal days left.  He is requesting Monday off (following Thanksgiving and the day after).  He is willing to take Monday off w/o pay, but is wanting to know if he still gets paid for the two day holiday. 

 Could you assist?
