Limited Benefit Medical Plans - Mini-Meds

I am looking for information from companies that are using these types of plans.Have they worked in reducing turnover?  How have they been recieved?

If you have such a plan, is it one that provides more than just discounted medical services?  Any other additional information or resources would be much appreciated.

We looked into them but did not purchase.  The limited benefits wouldn't have been received well by our employee population. But I expect it would be a great plan for a company with high turnover and a more blue collar workforce.
