I have a question..Does the Supervisory Committee have the authority to meddle with personnel issues?

Without knowing who your supervisory committee is and what their relationship is to employees, I really can't say. Could you provide more information, or describe the situation you think might be going on?

We don't know what the purpose of your Supervisory Committee is, but to get involved in personnel issues they must have a legitimate business reason. So I guess it comes down to who is responsible for the employees involved? Does the issue need to work itself up the chain and thus end up in the Committee? Is the Committee responsible for establishing policies? Answer these questions and you can probably answer your question.
