certifications/educational increase

Hello everyone!! Just wanted to get a few ideas on what others pay as an increase for an employee getting certifed in their area of employment. Such as BSA/ Securtiy/ Payroll etc. Do you use the same scale of increases for certifications as a degree? Do you even give increases for obatining degrees or certifications? thanks

We do not routinely give increases for obtaining a degree, but for obtaining certain specific certifications or licenses, we allow up to a 5% increase, at the supervisor's discretion.

We give a bonus for certain certifications. It's nominal, $1,000, but appreciated by the employees. In some circumstances a certification or degree could result in an increase (CPA, PMP, PHR) but those are on a case by case basis.
