We were just notified by a near by Police Dept. to be on the watch out for:
There is a person unknown that drives a white Pontiac. He has been going to ATMs after hours and gluing the money dispensers shut. He has already done this at two ATMs in Jeff City. We believe his goal is to lure after hour personnel out to service the ATM and rob the ATM.
The Police Dept. requested that any persons that are called after hours to service a machine call JCPD Dispatch first. They will have an officer meet them at the ATM. Do not get out of your vehicle until the police have arrived.
Might pay to alert your staff to be even more watchful when servicing an ATM after hours.
