biggest loser

Several of my nieces have been involved in their own little Biggest Loser contest for weeks now, and have been posting things about it on FB. It inspired me to challenge my hubby to one of our own to start this Sunday. That led to me now organizing one here for my company.

We are working on an honor basis, and I am sending everyone a spreadsheet that will calculate the percentage of weight loss weekly and in total (to run 5 weeks). They will then weigh on Sunday then enter thier weight and report the percentages to me on Monday.

Since it is on the honor system, we have a small gift card for the winner. However, I have decided it is appropriate to recognize weekly winners by letting them have some trophy for the week, to be passed on the next week to the next winner. I will go shopping this weekend to see if I can find some silly looking statue or something to be our 'award.' I need help naming it though. I want something catchy, so I am appealing to you for help. What would be an appropriate name for something that is NOT an Oscar or an Emmy?

The Chubby? On second thought, maybe that should go to the person with the smallest weight loss percentage.

How about the Audrey? (Audrey Hepburn was the epitome of svelte.)

How about the Jackie? (Jack LaLanne was the original fitness guru.)

How about the Arnie? (The former Gov is noted for his fitness.)

And then there is the Janie. (Jane Fonda, need I say more?)

The best one is the Chubby, but you are right, that probably won't send the right message. I thought about making it the Wacky Weekly Weight Loss Award, and calling it the Wacko. Somehow, that one doesn't fit either.

Hmmm. I have been thinking. Maybe I should just come up with some kind of 'Super Star' statue/award that I can use for different things. Right now it can be used for our Biggest Loser, but later it could be used for something else. SS. hmmm. Perhaps I should just call it the SSSHS award.

My mind was wondering this morning (no comments please!) and I was remembering my great-grandmother. Her name was Winifred. In private, my sister and I referred to her as Wini, so we would always know which grandmother we were talking about. I got to thinking that perhaps our new award should be called The Winifred Weekly Winner Award, AKA the Winnie. What are your thoughts Forumites?
