Online HR Document Storage Systems

We use ADP and are upgrading to PayForce and will be using their iPay. With iPay the employees will be able to view and print their pay stubs and W-2's. Unfortunately you can't scan images into ADP's system to help us become paperless. So now I'm on the hunt for online storage systems. I want to be able to scan all employee documents, i.e. pay raises, reviews, write-ups, W-4's, etc. I would like the system to be organized by store. We have 42 restaurants and want the managers at each one to be able to viiew thieir own employees.

We switched one of our companies to PayChex because they have an online storage HR system that would do what I want, but that has been a nightmare. We will be switching that company back to ADP.

Has anyone used something like I'm describing?

Paychex strikes again! Sorry you're having problems with them, bethk - I know you and I spoke about this months ago, but I truly hoped you wouldn't have the same problems!

As a stopgap solution, we are uploading documents to our secure intranet. So far it has worked, but I wouldn't say it's a full solution to the paperless issue.

Yeah. What a nightmare it's been. I think Paychex might be all right if your company didn't have garnishments, vacation accruals, and no more than maybe 5 employees. We're going to have an intranet too so the managers can access all forms, manuals, etc, that they use which will be nice when it's set up. I still need a solution though like I orginially described.

We used Paychex for several years. Had a great expereience. We went to ADP this January and it was a transition from hell. Here we are in March, almost April, and we still have problems.

Which ADP solution are you using?

At this point, we are using them for payroll. The Pres and CFO wants to use them for training and background checks but have not moved in that direction yet.

We use their PC Payroll product for payroll and I was told we"re been with them close to 20 years. We're upgrading to their PayForce product which is an online system. I know there's always issues but hope we don't have a headache like you've had. We converted one of our companies to Paychex last July and still have to do a lot by hand because we're still fixing their errors. Sheesh! Don't want to go through this again!
