Matching Charitable contributions

Our company wants to start matching employees contributions who donate to charity through direct deposit.

Does anyone have a policy on this or a process they would be willing to share w/me on this please.

They would like to roll this our next week - so your assistance is much appreciated.

We simply have the following in our handbook:
The X Bank is a strong supporter of the United Way. Because of this support, we provide a matching gifts program for the United Way. The Bank will match your United Way contribution up to $250.00. You may make your gift during our annual fund-raising drive or through payroll deduction.

I was the United Way coordinator for a previous employer for years, and I loved it. I think the approach Dutch described really is the best way to go.
