Compensable Hours

Howdy Folks! Our company Christmas party is this coming Friday. It's during work hours and employees are paid for their time at the party. Here's my question: Would you consider the time the employee is at the party to be "compensable" time (time that counts toward overtime)?

Besides, if you didn't pay your employees many of them would choose to work instead so they can pay for their own gift giving, and then you become Scrooge. Pay 'em.
