If you use Facebook, you have probably noticed one of your female friends posting what sounds like a very suggestive comment such as "I like it on the counter" or "I like it in the car."
Before your mind goes in the wrong direction, these posts are actually an informal campaign for Breast Cancer Awareness month.
Last year, ladies were posting the color of their underthings in an effort to raise awareness. Some might argue that the awareness that was raised was not the kind you would want.
Your thoughts? Are these of posts rife with potential sexual harassment situations?

By the way, my husband agrees with me (that I like it on the couch.)
I don't exactly know how where you put your handbag raises breast cancer awareness, at least the "what color is your bra" thing last year actually had something to do with the actual body part.
As long as it's kept out of the workplace, I don't know that I'd be too concerned about possible sexual harrassment situations, but who knows where some enterprising person might try to go with it?
I can see how it might make for some awkward situations. Last year, I know some of my male friends were pretty uncomfortable with knowing the underwear colors of their family members, friends, friends' wives, coworkers, etc.
It could also lead to inappropriate discussions at work. I'm sure nobody in HR or management wants to hear a work conversation that begins with, "So, I hear you have on [insert color here] underwear today," or "So, I hear you like it on the [insert location here]." Those are conversation starters that lead straight into sexual harassment territory.
Let's face it, sex sells and advertising types have been using it to sell everything from aspirin to washing machines for decades. It's so common that if this instance hadn't been on Facebook no one would have batted an eye over it.
My grandfather said it 50 years ago and it stills holds true - the world is going to h=e=double hockey sticks in a hand basket!

Every "13 minutes" a woman in US dies of Breast Cancer so if these comments raise awareness in one person who might find a cure then I think we have all done a wonderful service to our sisters who are suffering.
Just like the bracelets "I love boobies". I realize young people wear them for the shock value..but they are our future and perhaps one of those goofy kids will grow up and find the cure.
I say keep raising awareness!
Green Saves Trees
Pink Saves These (with arrrows pointing to the breasts)
Save the Ta-Tas.
Kinda catchy, isn't it?
"Save the Hooters" they have a cute little owl with her pink ribbon. It causes lots of conversations, my daughter who is a nursing student along with my two pugs wear them too. It's amazing how many people along our regular evening walk talk to us about our shirts. =D> I say yeah to whoever thinks of the next year's catchy slogan because I know that I will be purchasing whatever I can to help raise the awareness!
I was not sure if I could post the site for purchase or not but if you are interested I would be happy to give you their website.
Our longtime member Frank has been pantless for years. He's provocative and definitely provokes a kind of awareness. Perhaps Frank could be involved somehow...
