Busy

Just wondering if there is anyone else out there as busy as I have been the last six weeks? I've been working 12-14 hours days since I came back from vacation the third week of April, and I'm still not caught up.:ball and chain:

I wish I could say it was vacation. I got hit with a bug going around and was gone for more than a week. My office looks like a cyclone hit it. Well, to be honest it almost always does, but now it is much worse than usual and I have someone at my door every time I turn around wanting to know if I can do or did do something. Grrrr.

Perhaps the worst part is that I don't have enough time to get on here and bug people.

I've been busy lately because this is often a pretty busy time of year for me anyhow, what with various audits and insurance open enrollments that hit this time of year. I'm also training a new assistant [U]and[/U] learning how to back up another person's job myself, so it's been a crazier couple of months than usual for me. I'd like to take some vacation time just to stay home and re-charge but right now it doesn't look like I'll have that luxury until probably August or later.

Hearing how busy everyone is, I immediately thought of you this morning when I ran across this [I]Wall Street Journal[/I] article, "Why Relaxing is Hard Work." If you do get a chance to take some time off later this summer, the article offers good advice on how to detach your brain from office mode. tk
