ERISA/Report 5500

Still Need Coffee

Well, I've been spoiled for many years, and have had brokers who took care of the 5500 filings for me. This year, I'm on my own. It has been a VERY long time since I've had to do the 5500 by myself, and I admit I'm a bit rusty. Of course, the DOL website is about as clear as mud, so I'm going to you forumites.

Just so I'm clear....right now, I should be working on 5500s for the 2009 plan year, right? And is the deadline for filing still July 31?

Thanks guys - I feel like I'm having one of those days where I just can't think through anything on my own!!!!!

If your plan year ended 12/31/09 you have until 07/31/10.
