Today at our local chapter SHRM meeting we had Foulston Seifkin as a sponsor (editors of the Kansas Employment Law Letter). They gave away 3 door prizes: a year's subscription to the Law Letter, 2-1/2 hours of training, and admission to their annual Kansas Employment Law seminar (something I have attended before and wanted to attend again). When he was pulling out names for the seminar I shouted out, "Me! Me!" Guess who's name he called out?

Well, he did have a bit of a stunned look on his face, but I knew almost everyone else and they are used to me. Since I made a point of introducing him to several people I think he may have decided to just let it pass.
